Question Tag meaning - एखाद्या विधानार्थी किंवा आज्ञार्थी वाक्याच्या शेवटी सहमतीच्या अपेक्षेने एक छोटासा प्रश्न विचारलेला असतो , त्यास Question Tag असे म्हणतात.
यात प्रश्न विचारण्याचा मूळ हेतु नसून आपण केलेल्या विधानास किंवा आज्ञेस सहमती विचारण्याचा उद्देश असतो.
तुला हे आवडत, (हो) ना? हे वाक्य इंग्रजीमधे You like this, don't you? याप्रकारे होते, या वाक्यातील don't you? या भागाला Question Tag असे म्हणतात.
वाक्यात सहाय्यकारी क्रियापद (Helping Verb) असल्यास Question Tag करताना सहाय्यक क्रियापदास not लावून कर्त्याच्या ऐवजी सर्वनाम घ्यावे.

Were + not = weren't.
Shall + not = shan't.

Has + not = hasn't.
Can + not = can't.
Could + not = couldn't.
May + not = mayn't.
Might + not = mightn't.
Must + not = mustn't.

Question Tag Rules in marathi -
1) होकारार्थी वाक्याचा Question Tag नकारार्थी आणि नकारार्थी वाक्याचा Question Tag होकारार्थी होतो.
1) He is a teacher, isn't he?
2) He is not a teacher, is he?
2) I am असलेल्या वाक्यात Question Tag aren't i? असा होतो. व am i not किंवा I am not चा Question Tag am i? असा होतो.
1) I am a teacher, aren't I ?

3) I am not a teacher, am I ?
4) I am here, aren't I?
5) I am very busy, aren't I?
3) वाक्याची सुरुवात Let's या शब्दाने झाली असल्यास , त्या वाक्याचा Question Tag shall we? असा होतो.

3) Let's leave now, shall we?
4) Let's play on the ground, shall we?
5) Let's take another example, shall we?
4) आज्ञार्थी वाक्य जर सकारार्थी किंवा नकारार्थी असेल तरी त्या वाक्याचा Question Tag will you? असा होतो.

2) Don't open the door, will you?
3) Stand up, will you?
4) Let him go, will you?
5) Ask your question, will you?
5) everybody, nobody, somebody, someone, anyone, anybody हे कर्ते वाक्यात असतील तर Question tag मधे they हे सर्वनाम येते.
नकारार्थी शब्दाचा Question tag होकारार्थी करावा.
1) Everybody has done it, haven't they ?
2) Everyone liked it, didn't they?
3) Someone will go there, won't they?
4) Nobody was present, were they?
5) Everybody likes to learn English, don't they?
6) anything, something, nothing, everything साठी it वापरावे व nothing चा Question Tag होकारार्थी करावा.
1) Something is wrong, isn't it?
2) Nothing is ready, isn't it?
7) काही विशिष्ट नामासाठी जसे की सूर्य, चंद्र, पृथ्वी, राष्ट्राचे नाव इ. चे Question tag करताना she हे सर्वनाम घ्यावे.
1) India is my country, isn't she?
2) The sun shines very brightly, isn't she?
3) India carries historical baggage of cast discrimination and illiteracy, doesn't she?
